Using federal Clean Water Act 319 funding, the Kentucky Division of Water is seeking to fund projects that address nonpoint source pollution of water quality issues through local education and outreach activities, and build or improve organizational capacity. Under the FY 2016 mini-grant program, $35,000 is available. There will be a total of seven mini-grants awarded, one grant per major river basin. Mini-grants for up to $5,000.00 will be awarded. Applicants must provide a minimum of 20 percent in non-federal, local in-kind match or cash match. Applications will be reviewed by a funding recommendation panel and ranked per established criterion.
