Four Rivers Watershed Watch Phase 1 and Phase 2 training
Saturday, April 18 from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. at West Kentucky Community and Technical College, Waller Hall in Paducah, Ky. Four Rivers Watershed Watch is an all-volunteer group that collects water samples from the Four Rivers Region. Come learn about this program and become a trained sampler. This program is completely free and all supplies are provided.

Marshall County Children’s Arts Center Earth Day event
Wednesday April 22 from 9am to 2pm at the Marshall County Children’s Arts Center in Benton, Kentucky. Come learn about the different green infrastructure technologies installed at the site, including pervious concrete, rain gardens, bioswales, rain barrels, etc. Giveaways will be available.

​​Four Rivers Basin Team Meeting
Thursday April 23 at 9:30am at Paducah City Hall in Paducah, Kentucky. John Hodges, with the Paducah-McCracken County Joint Sewer Agency will speak with the group about some of the challenges facing the wastewater industry. We will also discuss proposed projects in the Four Rivers Region.

Fort Heiman Junior Ranger Day
Saturday April 25 from 10am to 2 pm at Fort Heiman in Calloway County, Kentucky. Children’s activities will include a stream cleanup along the Kentucky Lake shoreline, rain garden planting, fishing, a historical reenactment, and other environmental programs. This event is free. T shirts will be available for the first 50 children. Other giveaways and lunch will also be provided.

Damon Creek Watershed Planning Project Public Meeting
Tuesday April 28 from 6pm to 8pm at Kirksey Baptist Church in Kirksey, Kentucky. Come learn about the new watershed planning project in the Damon Creek watershed, including the purpose of the project and project activities.
