The mission of the Kentucky Division of Water is to manage, protect and enhance the quality and quantity of the Commonwealth's water resources for present and future generations through voluntary, regulatory and educational programs.




​The EPA promulgated the “Dental Amalgam Rule” in June 2017 to decrease mercury discharges to municipal sewer systems.  Information on the One-Time Compliance Report required to be completed by all dental offices is located under Permits & Approvals. Click here for more information.

Heritage Land Conservation Fund. All proceeds from the sale of nature license plates are deposited into the Kentucky Heritage Land Conservation Fund; the Wild Rivers Program receives 10 percent of those funds.
